MINERVA
With the publication of my first novel, I feel a bit disgruntled and distressed. I did not have the opportunity to market its arrival to the best of my ability, and therefore it hasn't received the press it so deserves. I am proud of the book. My mother told me to publish it myself, right before she passed away in September 2007. She believed in the book, as do I, and I know when I have the opportunity to discuss and interact with readers it will get more attention and notarity. Readers should find that it is remarkable significant, due to the historical election of a biracial president-elect and the state of California's Proposition 8.
